Sureathia “Rita” Claiborne is a Family Self-Sufficient Coordinator and Residents and Youth Coordinator at Danville Redevelopment And Housing Authority, where she coordinates Resident and Youth Support Services with Partnering Organizations in the Danville, Virginia Community. She has worked at DRHA for five years.
 
Rita has an Associate of Arts and Science Degree with a major in General Studies from Patrick Henry Community College in Martinsville, Virginia and she has a Nan Mckay Certification in Family Self- Sufficient Case Management.
 
Rita is a member of The American Association of Service Coordinators and she was awarded the Health Collaborative 2019 Thrive Changemaker Award.
